I just loved hearing your group at Sweet Rhythm the last time I was in NY! You guys have some awesome chemistry…the gentleman who played the organ/keyboard--he played with such surrendered passion! The brother on the drums was on fire! The guitarist was sensational and the trumpet player…well, I would like to think that he was playing to me all night (He’s a cutie!)—he was phenomenal!
Jason, you organize solos in such a sensitive manor, coupling instruments that don’t just blend well, but inspire thoughts-escapes and true reflection. Your creative decisions ere thoughtful, colorful…overt! It’s nice to see such diversity and to hear fresh, vibrant, overt renditions of emotions that are just better set to the tune of jazz…love, peace, fear and liberty…I simply loved hearing you guys!!!
